Goodnight fella.
I like cleaning cars (you may of heard, I don’t know, lol) but reproofing a soft top is a PITA, the car needs to be dry for days and indoors away from contaminants to do it properly.

You noticed? Yeah... Mazda made the bumpers of a different material than the rest of the body so they have a tendency to be different colors after years of exposure. If I do one coat of wax everywhere and three thin ones on the bumper they match perfectly for a few weeks.
Unless you meant the battle damage. Previous owner had some sort of front end collision

Can I have you clean the interior of my rear window? The rollbar really makes it annoying...
It’s only a few months old, and a Robbins top so should be good for awhile! That said, the top isn’t what I’m worried about. It’s the awful seals and overall terrible Miata top design. Really needs to be parked under cover but alas... Not in the cards

Svend, what do you think the best course is for his front bumper? Compound/polish/seal/wax or a wet sand re clear in order?

Help the seals as much as you can by keeping them clean and supple. From time to time clean them with an all purpose cleaner, nothing too vigorous and treat with Einszett Gummi Pflege Stift, this will treat the rubber keeping it supple and nourished preventing it from drying out and cracking and also reduce if not completely stop your windows sticking to it if the weather gets very cold and it freezes which can also break your window motors if they usually drop a little to let you open the doors.

If it comes up when wet or waxed, it sounds like mild oxidation and a good Polish (with no fillers or wax) is all that’s needed then wax or seal.

Sorry, already commented before seeing this.
Like I said, if it comes up when wet or waxed, sounds like mild oxidation which a good Polish with no fillers will bring right back.
A mild Polish on a firm pad would be a good combo and can easily be done by hand. Then wax or seal to add UV protection.

Like Gettingoldercarguy says, try a GriotsGarage arm or similar or an AutoGlym Palm Applicator/Microfibre.
You can put it in the palm of your hand or put on the back of your hand using your fingers to keep a tight hold of it.

You need the glass reach tool. Best thing ever.
